Miss Rodeo America is a beauty pageant held before the NFR event. The winner of the pageant will be chosen as the official spokesperson of the PCRA.

History of the Miss Rodeo America.

December is the month that is chosen for the Miss Rodeo America pageant is held every year. It is in partnership with the NFR events. The venue for the championship is Las Vegas, Nevada. The winners of the state rodeo pageant from all over America can take part in the Miss Rodeo America pageant. The winners are decided based on their personality, appearance, and horsemanship.

The prize money that the winner will pocket is $20,000, she will also wear a crown that will fit on the cowboy hat, Montana Silversmiths jewelry, scholarships, Wrangler apparel, belt buckles, and Justin Boots. She will travel covering more than 120,000 miles during her reign for one year. The winner will also promote rodeo by appearing in public functions such as in schools and several other regions. Miss Rodeo America beauty pageant was started in 1956 and Marilyn Scott Freimark was the first winner, she later owned a ranch. The 2019 Miss Rodeo America was won by Taylor McNair.

The 2019 Miss Rodeo America Pageant was held in 2018 from December 2 to December 9 and the venue was the Tropicana in Las Vegas. Taylor Ncnair was crowned the Miss Rodeo America Pageant on December 9, 2018.

Foundation for NFR beauty pageant

The Miss Rodeo America pageant produces one of the most noticeable media spokespersons for the professional rodeo cowboy association and the Western way of life. Since the beginning of the pageant in 1955, it has helped the contestants for pursuing their education with scholarships. The girl who wins the Miss Rodeo America pageant get a prize money of $20,000 for her education as a scholarship. Several other scholarships will be presented to the winners of the categories and appreciation in other areas. Each participant will get at least 1,000 just for competing.
